PHBA announces Founders Pointe as the Site for the 2013 Parade of Homes

The Peninsula Housing and Builders Association announced it will host its 2013 Parade of Homes at Founders Pointe in Isle of Wight County, Virginia May 4-19.

“Bordered by Batten Bay and James River tributaries, the Founders Pointe community blends beautifully with the surrounding environment,” said PHBA President Tim Cleary. “It’s the perfect backdrop for the creative and innovative homes our builders will offer in the 2013 Parade of Homes.”

The community was twice selected "Community of the Year" by PHBA, added Cleary. “It is located in a growth corridor in the Carrollton area of Isle of Wight County and has seen excellent new home sales success in recent years.” Founders Pointe's Sales Center and Residents's Club opened in 2007, and now 165 families enjoy living in this waterfront community.



“Founders Pointe is located just a few minutes from historic Smithfield, Virginia, and is convenient to both the Peninsula and Southside; it’s close to the commercial and retail amenities in Suffolk,” said Branch Lawson, president of East West Partners, the community’s developer. “More than 165 families have relocated to Founders Pointe since our grand opening, and we’re expecting 319 when we’re complete,” Lawson added.

The single-site display of homes will feature at least eight fully furnished and landscaped showcase homes ranging from 2,800 to 3,600 square-feet of living space and priced from $500,000 to over $650,000.
